It’s been a BIG year in beauty for us, and we’re enjoying the varied project types: from tanning products to facemasks and nails. This project is one of three for Leighton Dennys Expert Nails, and is the flagship of our beauty work so far.
We have all the key ingredients: a fantastic set of products, bursting with colour and vibrancy, a location that screams London in Notting Hill, a specialist team made up of hairstylists, makeup, nail technicians and, of course our team of creatives. For a change, we also had the summer sun 🙂
The brief here was to create an energetic, client-focused promo that could be used across all social channels, including 1:1 square crops for Insta. We used our brand new DJI Ronin support for those smooth motion shots, and recorded using our lightweight Sony A7s series cameras. After a lot of studio-based work this year it was refreshing to get out on the streets and make the most of the weather as well, while we have it!

From going through initial concepts and interpreting our brief, to sourcing location and of course the filming and direction on the day, Steven and the team were amazing and have a great eye for the details.
